This spacious 3 bedroom apartment is located in the 2nd arrondissement, one of Paris's most up-and-coming areas. Indeed it's just a stones throw away from the "quartier Montorgeuil" a hub for the young and artistic who have brought with them a wealth of fashion boutiques, restaurants, bistros bars and delicatessens. At the heart of this area is the rue Montorgeuil which is home to one of Paris's most famous markets, offering an abundance of atmosphere, colour and choice for food lovers.

The apartment's central location makes access to the city's major monuments easy. The Louvre, the River Seine, the rue de Rivoli and the Marais are all a short walk away and the nearest Métro - Reaumur Sebastepol is virtually at your doorstep.

The accommodation sleeps 5 in one double bedroom, a single and a twin. The sleeping accommodation is best suited to a family as the twin and single bedrooms are normally children's bedrooms with bunk beds, decoration and toys! There is one bathroom.

The rest of the apartment has been decorated with a mix of old and contemporary, a style somewhere between Paris and New York. It is situated on the 4th floor without lift.

The property has wifi broadband internet.

You enter the apartment into a hallway, which to your right leads to the bedrooms and straight on leads to the living/dining area and the kitchen.

The living/dining area has been decorated in "New York loft style". Here you will find two large sofas, a coffee table and two small armchairs. There's also a hi-fi and a TV offering cable (BBC and CNN). The wooden dining table comfortably seats 6.

The large uncluttered space is separated from the kitchen by a glass wall which makes the whole space even larger!

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the expected appliances including oven, gas hob, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. In the bathroom you will find a bathtub, a separate shower cubicle and a washbasin. Here you will also find a washer/dryer. The separate loo is in the hallway.

The main bedroom is not huge but comfortably sleeps 2 adults in a double bed (4ft7, 1.4m wide). There's ample storage space in a large chest of drawers. All the bedrooms are away from the road and thus calm and quiet.

The two children's bedrooms both have elevated beds with small desks underneath. There is a third fold-out bed that can be placed in either room. Both rooms have good storage space and room for playing.

This truly colourful and lively "quartier" has a atmosphere of conviviality. You have everything on your doorstep. One of the best food markets in Paris (rue Montorgueil), cinemas within 2 minutes walk away (Les Halles), fashion boutiques (rue Etienne Marcel, rue Tiquetonne) and some great restaurants and cafés.

Try the La Bocca on rue Montorgueil for some excellent Italian cuisine or for something a little more traditional L'Escargot also on the same road - the name gives it away!
